Children’s Church

Children's Church at Our Lady and St. Dympna

Children’s Church is for children to come and learn about God’s love.  Children’s Church is part of children’s ministry, which is the process of helping children become more like Jesus by establishing a personal relationship with Him.

Children’s church is when the children leave the congregation to celebrate and reflect on the Sunday Gospel reading, in an age-appropriate way.  The children are led through prayers, songs and activities that are enjoyable and adapted to their level of understanding.

Children’s Church occurs every first, second and fourth Sundays at the 9:00 a.m. Mass during the school term.
